Sports Day 2026
Last Saturday, with the sun shining on our wonderful campus, the school community rallied for our annual Sports Day. Every pupil was assigned to one of four teams (red, green, blue or white) and competed in a range of traditional track and field events (running, high jump, long jump etc), sport skills-based events (e.g. rugby conversions, cricket throw, swimming, tug of war etc) and some novelty events (three legged race, caterpillar race (shown above). Our team captains ensured their team was represented in every event, with the combined scores calculated at the end of the day to decide the winner. The events rounded off with the tradition “cloister dash” for 6th year pupils, won by David Chukwueke and Constance Raetsch, before medals were presented and the winning team was announced. This year’s winning team were …. the white team!
Many thanks to Rev Owen for capturing the colour and energy of the day; his photos are collated in this album below.
